Cartrack & Norman Bissett Inc listed me as defaulter for what???

I have received a call from Norman Bissit regarding a Cartrack account I recall closing over 3 years ago.

This was very disturbing as I was told my account was sold to 3rd party without any attempt to collect whatever was due from me after calling in to have them cancel their service.

I then made contact with Cartrack and Norman Bisset a couple of time and explained to them that I remember having this account cancelled and if they can escalate my case.

For the past 3 years, I have NEVER received a call or any communication from Cartrack regarding collecting any amount due. After my account was sold, Norman Bisset was able to make contact with me immediately after receiving this account in their books. How was my account sold if Cartrack has never attempted to collect from me? When I called in, I was told they had contact details I have last used in 2018 early 2019 and they could not get hold of me, WHAAAT? How did Norman Bisset contact me just after they have received my account and Cartrack says they did not have my contacts?

If there was any amount due to be collect, I should have been made aware of before going so extreme to sell my account and then to my surprise, list me as a defaulter while I have escalated this matter to Cartracker and Norman Bisset that, I have made contact with Cartrack and they lady I have spoken to said that my query will be escalated. Then why list me as a defaulter while I am not even refusing to pay any amount if only I can get answers as to how was there no communication prior.
