Cannot give any proof of fees owed
In December 2014 I was informed by Norman Bissett that I owe R306 on a Woolworths account that was handed over to them. I told them that I closed my Woolworths account in 2009 and that it was paid up. They insisted that I owe that amount. I asked them for a statement, which they said they were unable to provide. They kept on contacting me and in August they told me that I now owe R370. I repeatedly asked for a statement, but they kept saying that they were unable to provide one. I decided to make the payment and asked for a letter to state that the account is paid up. They still have not provided this.<br> The service at this firm is appalling. It is my right as a consumer to be issued with statements and letter of settlement. There is absolutely no excuse for the unprofessional way in which this firm handles its clients. If they do not respond I will contact the ombudsman. This is really unacceptable.
