At my wits end!!!!!!

Out of the blue I start receiving sms, calls and e-mails from Norman Bissett and Associates claiming I owe money to them for an account which they had acquired the rights to. This is in respect of Wesbank. This account was paid up in 2008. When I mention this to your call centre they ask for proof. Which individual keeps documents for 8 years. Seen all the claims on Hellopeter, is it possible that NBA has purchased a chunk of prescribed debt/inaccurate records and with scare tactics and harassment is hoping to collect on certain amounts. Is it not possible that Hellopeter can organise a meeting of all the people with the identical complaint to start action with the Debt Collecters Council or who ever controls these people? They are harassing my husband everyday and he tells them the same thing every day. I have gone to the police station and got an affidavit stating that I have paid this account in 2008. I do not know where to go to seek help with this, I cannot even open up a cheque account because of this, I am a director of 2 businesses and cannot aquire any finance needed on a business level because of this. PLEASE HELP ME.
