Lack of communication
In 2019 I have been retrenched due to the company that I have worked for went under business rescue. I have contacted Karen from No Q UIF to assist me. I had no problems at the time and all went smoothly. Shortly afterwards I found work and and UIF claims were stopped.
Middle 2020 I lost my job again. Covid-19 had a huge influence why I lost my job. Because I had good services previously from No Q UIF, I have contacted them again for assistance. Paperwork and once-off payment were done as the standard norm.
I am not sure what is happening this time around. It is a struggle to get hold of her. It doesn't help to phone her as her phone is off. Only contactable via e-mail. Which I understand and can tolerate. But oh boy, when you try to follow up what is going on, you don't get any feedback. If I am lucky enough to get a response, it is something in the line that she will get back to me.
Until now am I not sure if the UIF will pay out or not, I am not sure if any documentation is outstanding.
There is definitely a lack of communication from her side. I do understand and have sympathy that a lot of people most properly are making use of her service due to people that lost their job due to Covid-19. But, at some stage you need to get some sort of feedback to your clients. Even if it it is to say that she can't assist me anymore due work load or what ever reason.
