Goods paid and never delivered

A package was marked delivered and I never received it. It is ridiculous that this practice is accepted by a company so big. It is not right that customers need to experience anxiety like this over something they paid for with their hard earned money. And customer service tells me its says delivered . If I had my goods I would not have complained.
