Zero Customer Service at Germiston Branch – Go to Centurion Instead!
As a business owner (Noord Karavane), I drove across town after checking Google Maps, which clearly lists Non-Ferrous Metals Germiston as closing at 16:30. I pulled up at 15:57—33 minutes before closing. They opened the gate, let me in, and then flatly refused to serve me. I spoke to the owner directly and was just told, "Sorry, we are closed." I only needed 8 lengths of aluminum tubing (a 15-minute transaction). Turning away paying clients half an hour early shows total mismanagement and pure arrogance. If you need stock, skip Germiston completely and go to the Centurion branch. I went to Centurion the next day and was sorted out in 15 minutes flat by friendly staff who cut and loaded the tubes for me. Germiston clearly thinks they’re too big to care about customers.
