Noisy rooster - shocking treatment a disgrace

I have been a loyal customer to the noisy rooster until today! I have introduced many friends to this place before and this morning I brought 3 new friends. The owners even know me by name!

I want to share with you the disgraceful treatment and service today. We placed an order at 10:20( the waitress wrote it down) - we ordered 3 toasted sandwiches and a piece of quiche. At 11:30 our food had not yet arrived . When I asked Debbie what was happening she told me that the chef is trying to sabotage our waitress's orders and that I must come personally to complain to the chef! I told her it wasn't my place to do so ! I told her that I was NOT going pay for the food and to cancel the order.

The waitress returned to say that our food was ready at 12:00 and she brought it to us . I again reiterated that we won't pay for the food and should be compensated. We landed up taking the food which arrived wrong in a take away, which I landed up giving it to a beggar.

The final straw was when Debbie's sister ( I don't recall her name) came after me in the road to say that we had under paid. I explained that I told her due to the ********** service and rude attitude of the staff we are not paying for the food( which never arrived in time nor correctly) - we paid R230 for the drinks. She told me to RETURN the food that was in my hand as I had not paid for it. She then told me in an extremely aggressive tone that the waitress would also get into trouble and money would be deducted from her salary. I want to state that the waitress ( I think her name was tuli) was lovely . I then returned the food to the lady and she stormed off inside with the food!!

I used to love this place so much that I even enquired to have my sons party at the noisy rooster. I was told that if I wanted to have the party on a Sunday morning I would have to pay R195 per Adult and R145 per child as they make between R5 ********** on a Sunday!!! Well when I was there today there was one other table!!!

I have never been treated so badly - clearly they have not heard the phrase that the customer is always right!! I do not foresee this place lasting - they have certainly lost me and my group of friends as customers !

A huge pity as it had lots of potential.
