NMD - NO REFUND AS PROMISED

<p>I started with NMD 3.5 years ago. Even though I live in Cape Town they initially had Pretoria attorneys work on my case. This case was eventually kicked out of the Gauteng court due to the fact I lived in the Western Cape. My case was then moved to Cape Town Attorneys. Without informing me NMD then moved my case again, this time to Durban attorneys. I have paid my R45k in full as required but I have nothing to show for it. No progress, documents, court dates – NOTHING! I asked the Director, Jacques Odendaal, for a refund. Firstly he said he can move my case back to the Pretoria office and get a court date quickly, the lawyers will simply lie on the court papers and state that I live in Gauteng. I refused this option as it is ******* and *********. Every time I call Jacques Odendaal to find out when I am going to get my refund he is full of stories and “problems”. He will tell me he will have an answer for me in a day or two, when I call back on the date he comes up with another story as to why it will take another day or two. Complete avoidance and stalling tactics. To add insult to injury he has stated he is in the process of reconciling my case. All this makes me believe is he is in the process of trying to work out a **** invoice so he can only refund a small portion of the money I have paid to him. NMD is a very shady business and its owners do not care about their clients.</p>
