Rather buy a wheelbarrow and hire a guy to push you around in it

Do not use NFC - trust me! You are better off pushing around a wheelbarrow.

They will not offer any warantees, if the car breaks down it's your problem. If you miss your due date by one day they will show up at your work address and take the car back. The will NOT refund your deposit, once you pay it, its theirs.

I paid a R25,000 deposit on a rental car with 20,000 km milage, at a rate of R5950 per month. After 3 months the car developed an electrical fault. I had Opel fix the fault (it took them over 2 months to fix the car due to a part that they needed to import), during this period I paid to rent a car from Avis. NFC simply told me its not their problem, so I had to pay them every month too. Costing me over R11k per month in total (for NFC and an Avis rental)

I returned the car in the exact same condition I got it in, I even had it cleaned for them and serviced at Open in Edenvale prior to returning it (to avoid charges against my deposit). Despite this my entire deposit was withheld due to trumped-up charges that were never disclosed upfront.

At the sart of this month, 4 months after returning the car my account was incorrectly debitted for another rental installment of R5950. Its nearing 4 weeks since then and I have not received a refund. I have also been told that the refund will not be the full amount, because even though the R25k deposit was withheld, I still owe them money!

Think twice before you deal with them, they're a bunch of ****** that build wealth by taking advantage of a customer base that cannot raise finance through FSB licensed companies.

I will be reporting them with industry regulators.
