No Finance Cars bridge of contract
Good day My name is Keo****tse Tlhale Email: Keo*******
I have entered into an agreement with No Finance Cars more than 2 years ago buying a car from them( Datsun Go plus 1.2 Engine. I guess when you're a client sometimes you just need a little fair treatment from the service providers.
The deal went well until one day i get a call from my bank Absa stating my account is been overdrawn or rather on a minus due to unsuccessful debit orders from No Cars Finance. I told them that could not be possible because on the initial day of the agreement i had sent my application documents detailing when i get paid and i still went in to discuss the agreement and i did confirm my payment date.
Now i get to learn this is been happening since i started the contract, without me knowing. Just like any normal client i laid a complained with the accounts consultant Mrs Ria Hanekom and her response to that was that cannot be possible because they work on a Naedos system and it tracks the money on the account soon as the money goes in the account, only then the debit goes through. She then said i need to query with Absa bank, i went to Absa again to see how true can this be. Absa explains they only charge a debit order when it was requested by a service provider and it didn't go through, which makes sense, i then started having discussion with No Finance Cars trying to explain what the bank is saying. Still no help.
Until one day i decide to now start talking to this company using email because i don't have telephone conversation to even take to the bank as prove. through that i requested to start dealing with the head of accounts Mrs Charmain steyn as per Ria Hannekom saying its really out of her hands, she is just following company procedure. This is what they do and it cant be changed.
Mrs Charmain steyn took the matter and said she will follow up, that's when i waited again for months as you will be able to see on the email discussion. After a month or few weeks later after receiving no response from Mrs Charmain steyn she comes back to me "i Quote"
Charmaine Steyn Aug 22, 2019, 5:01 PM (18 hours ago) to me, Ria Good day You have to sort this out from your bank. No Finance cars do not charge any tracking Fees. If your salary date changed you have to bring proof and new debit orders will be loaded. Thank you
I then called Absa bank immediately and made a conference call with Mrs Charmaine Steyn and a lady consultant from Absa Nomama and she then went on to explain to Charmaine what the bank does and cannot do, She even went on to let Charmaine know how i was mislead in the deal because of them not providing full payment method or options even during the complaint.
Sadly Charmaine she is one of the Directors of the company No Fiance Cars and the way she handle the call/matter even in Absa's presence was totally unprofessional and end up hanging up the call after she realizes her companies mistakes.
Funny we miss the red flags when we are happy with the contract we got into. I was once approach by an elderly man working for Taxify randomly, and he asked me if i am happy with the No fiance Cars, He could identify the car by No Fiance Sticker and i said very happy, and he told me why he had to stop his deal with them and what caused it, i took it lightly. Today i,m on that end of bad service.
My main aim is to help educate our fellow South Africans and help awareness on these kind of unfairness. According to the National Credit Act No Finance Cars has on a numerous of occasions breached the contract and now they are using arrogance to avoid the matter. If anyone out there knows of a lawyer or adviser i cant contact or see regarding this matter please forward me the information so i can further take a step, someone suggested Hello Peter but i'm not sure how they can help because this morning i called the FSB and they referred me to National Credit Act head office which i haven't being lucky getting getting help, But i will follow up and take every higher step possible to expose this behavior.
