NO FINANCE CARS BOKSBURG HO - DO NOT!!! DO NOT !!! DO NOT!!!

02 August 2024 - Paid No Finance Cars, 155 North Rand Road, Boksburg R17000,00 for the rental of a 2021 Nissan Almera 1.5 Acenta MT. On my way home the vehicle was shuddering so I immediately went to a private mechanic. It was suggested I take the vehicle back as there were many defaults which did not make the vehicle roadworthy. This was a grave dissappointment to me as I had informed Vincent that I will be using the vehicle to transport my family as this was a very huge expense prior to me purchasing the vehicle. I contacted Vincent, the sales person and informed him. We agreed to meet the following day at the dealership. 03.08.2024 The next day, being Saturday I took the vehicle back to No Finance Cars where they informed us they will assess the car, handed us an assessment of the current faults. This was unexpected as no person would want to have repairs done to a vehicle which was certified as Roadworthy the day before. I experienced terrible vibrating and shuddering in the vehicle which felt as though it could flip any time and so did my family. It was then I decided to return the vehicle. Please do note I was informed by the Sales person, No Finance Cars does not normally do test drives. No Finance Cars is a car rental company, I paid them for a service and they did not provide it. They deducted R6950,00 from my deposit for a service they did not provide. The vehicle rented to us was not roadworthy as stated so on their check list. In their contract it states refunds are paid back within 7 days of notification of cancellation with a reasonable cancellation fee, How is R6950,00 reasonable? Lodged a complaint with Motor Industry Ombudsman of South Africa in August 2024, to date no response to enquiries of feedback. Please advise as the increased expenses have been astronomical.
