VERY VERY POOR AND UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE

My ID Number is ********** 731080

I resigned from my previous employer at the end of July 2016 and my papers were submitted to NMG on the 10th of August 2016. I have been calling NMG throughout the week to enquire what the status of my claim is. I spoke to 3 consultants/ admistrators throughout the week. To my surprise they all give me three different answers listed below.

1. The paperwork was submitted and I’ll be paid in the next 6 to 8 Weeks (That’s their standard answer when they don’t have a clue of what’s going on. If you count from the date i submitted any professional should give an answer with dates and reasons)

2. The other consultant told me they don’t pick up anything on their system which means my documents were not submitted

3. The other consultant told me all is in order and i will be paid on Friday.

Out of all the 3 responses i have received which of the one is true? It’s really unprofessional for NMG to treat people they way they treating them. They must remember that if consumers wanted to they can tell their companies to move to a more professional company and they can be out of business if they keep being this unprofessional. I have also requested my latest statement on Tuesday and till today i have received nothing at all.

Ezekiel Chaka

Good day Mr Chaka
We sincerely apologise for your frustration and inconvenience.
Although you left the company in July 2016, contributions to your investments (Provident Fund) were made for the month of August 2016 which changes your exit date to be August 2016 instead of July 2016. This means that the Service Level Agreement (SLA) date of payment also changes. August 2016 monies had to be invested and disinvested for your payment to be made. The turnaround time for a claim is 6 weeks from the time investments are finalized to payment date of a claim, the payment process is still within the SLA in this regard.
With reference to the Benefit Value you requested, we also apologize that you did not receive as promised, Please note that it has been sent to your personal email address.
We regret your initial experience and assure you that your claim payment is a priority to us.
Should you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us;
