Very poor service from NMG Benefits
I resigned from my company on January the 18th 2018. On the 21sr of February I sent NMG Benefits a email, requesting the status of my claim. They did not respond, the following day I made a call, and I was told that my claim is in the disinvestment stage. They reassured me by putting it on mail on the 22nd of February and added that I should make contact mid March for payment date.
I have sent about 7 emails, of which only 3 was rep**** on, after I have phoned numerous times. On March the 13th, I received a mail again stating the following: "Please be advised that we cannot be able to speed up the process in any way. Please be advised that the Aveng pension and Provident Fund will no longer be administrated by NMG. Your claim will be handed over to the new administrators of the fund."
According to my knowledge, this will take another few months due to handovers etc.
On March the 14th, I received the following email: "Please be advised that your claim is in the disinvestment stage and will be finalised before the 3rd of April. The new administrator is Grant Thornton"
So, on the 22nd of April my claim was in the disinvestment stage, on March the 14th the status is still the same, and now I should follow up in April again.
I dont have a income at the moment, and I need my money. Any advice on what to do. The administrator handling my claim is Tshepo Maluleka.
