POOR SERVICE DURING THE PROVIDENT FUND WITHDRAWAL

On 12 May I was informed by Aasiya Osman in writing that she had received my withdrawal form and that there was a SLA of up to six weeks before finalisation. On 25 May I enquired on the progress where I learnt that Aasiya was no longer employed by NMG and that I should contact [Email Removed] - I did that and to date have not received a response. On 25 May I also sent an email to Thapelo, who asked for my ID number, which I provided on the same day. I did not receive any feedback from him until I followed up on 27 May 2015. His feedback was that he was 'processing' my claim and that it takes 6 to 8 weeks to finalise from the date of withdrawal (which was 30/04/2015). I requested more information as 'processing it' does not provide sufficient information and I also informed him that I was initially advised that it took 6 weeks and not 8, and that I wished to escalate the matter as I believed that there was no urgency. He informed me that the funds were disinvested - which is a lie as I logged onto the NMG portal today where it reflects that my funds are still invested. I would like to escalate this matter as I believe that this is really poor service from Thapelo.
