IRP5 submitted to SARS
I use to work for a company called GIBB in cape town, I then resigned in January 2014. The company pension fund was with NMG. on 2 October 2014 I received an email from Chantal Baron which had my IRP5 attached since I had chosen to cash-out my pension fund. On the 4 September 2015 I went to SARS to do my tax returns and I was told I could not submit my tax returns as there was a problem with the IRP5 from NMG. At SARS they said the tax directive submitted was for 2014 but submitted in 2015, they said I should speak to the pension fund company (NMG) to have that corrected before I could proceed with submission of my tax returns. As from 4 september I have sent numerous emails to NMG [Email Removed] [Email Removed] [Email Removed] [Email Removed] and even submitted a query/complaint on their website [URL Removed] to have this sorted but still today I am still awaiting a response from them. It is frustrating that now I am not able to submit my tax returns early and time is running out, and no one at NMG seems to be bothered.
