The real Nkwe

The worst service I have ever received from any holiday resort. The log cabins shown in the website pictures are secluded with a view but what we got for a R1000 per night was a brick built cabin between the caravan tents with no privacy. Water pipes was leaking (when there was water) all over the cabin and there was exposed toilet pipes that run through the camp area. There was no water during the night and the next morning in the entire caravan park so could not even wash dishes or have a working toilet. You are not allowed to use the braai's next to the river in the bush camp unless you pre-book it and have to pay extra although you have paid to sleep in the caravan park(can only braai on the day visitors side during the day). The children play area is dangerous with all trampoline springs missing on one side and rusted and broken jungle-jim. There is no walking trails as advertised(can only walk through the caravan park) and they don't want people to walk on the bush camp side. Be warned- rather go somewhere else before going to this place. The guy running the place( Andre) will gladly try to sell you anything for 10 rand more
