Nizams, Is it a store that serves customers or one that chases profits.

First of all I'd like to know if Nizams is operating to assist it's customers with goods and services they are selling or if it's just a typical business closing its doors the second it reaches its target for the day. This store specifically is a perfect example of that.

Yesterday, the 14th of August 2023, I arrived at the store at 17:45 and saw from a distance the store close its doors. I concluded they operate until 5PM and just went back home.

Today, the 15th of August 2023, before leaving the house, I checked their operating hours and discovered they close 18:00, Mondays through Fridays. I arrived at the store around 17:40 and found people waiting outside closed doors. It looked like they were cashing up.

I looked at the time indicator they put on the front door and it clearly stated they close at 18:00. So, I asked the security guard standing behind the door why they closed before time, he said the tills were closed. He opened the door slightly for an employee who was locked out to come in, and as I persisted on telling him about the times, an Asian lady who looked like the manager banged and locked the door as if he was scolding him for giving me attention and walked away.

A moment later, a lady who just bought a packet of yeast came shouting that the till operator who just assisted her gave her a **** five rand coin for change. She even pointed at her and insisted that they give her real money. They all looked at the coin from the glass door and all acted surprised as if she was crazy.

As I turned to my left, two ladies standing by, tell me to ask the same till operator to buy whatever I want as she did for them, and I'm wondering how's she going to do that if the till is closed. I took a picture of the store and just left.
