Stay Far Away – Dishonest Service and Dangerous Workmanship I would strongly advise anyone to avoid Nix Autotrix at all costs. In April 2025, I took my car there and was told the engine had hy****ocked and needed a full rebuild. I trusted them and paid for the work. Since then, it has been nothing but problems. The cambelt snapped shortly after, forcing me to redo major work again, and then the engine started running bearings. This is completely unacceptable after a so-called “rebuild.” It gets worse — parts that I paid for were never properly installed, and I later discovered that parts were taken from another vehicle to patch mine together after they blew the main fuse from the battery. That is not just unprofessional, it’s outright dishonest. Unfortunately, it’s not just my car. My mother-in-law had her brakes done there — they worked for a short time, then failed again. My wife’s car is currently there and now has overheating issues that were not there before. This is the kind of place that pretends to be honest, talks badly about other mechanics to distract you, and in the process takes your money while delivering poor, unsafe workmanship. If you value your car and your money, do not go here.
