Nissan Almera new car with multiple issues
We bought a Nissan Almera 2020 just about a month ago. On the day that we collected the car the driver's door wasn't closing properly. One had to bang it for it to close. We ignored this because we were so excited for our first car with a brand we thought was one of the best. On the drive home we noticed the car would unlock itself on the way and just randomly switch on and off while a person changes gears or accelerates. We reported this issue to the salesman and they told us to bring it in. Mind you we stay more than 40 KMS away from the dealership. We took it in they said to fix it. The problem stopped. A few days later, the car broke down on the highway and just literally refused to start the engine. It made sounds instead. We tried and tried and tried until it finally started. From then on each time we switch it off and on again the same issue persisted. We decided to take it back to Melrose. On the way the car broke down for hundredth time, we had to call roadside assistance. The towed the car to Motordeal Nissan. When we got there the staff were so rude and told us they would charge us to fix the car and that we should have taken it back to Melrose. We fought with them until they decided to take it in. After hours of letting us wait outside with our kids. The technician claimed a terminal was detached and was causing the problem. We took our car back and left. We went by the mall. Lo and behold, on starting the car again, the problem started again. Now the engine made a very funny nose when switched on. The car took time to turn on. We decided to take it back to Melrose. They turned us away and said we must come after the weekend, today. They said they'd fixed it but out car is still in a very bad state. The door is still not closing. The car makes a very bad nose when turned on. We don't know what more to do and at this point I wish I could take it back to the people and look for another brand
