Title: Shocking workmanship, terrible reliability, and zero accountability – Avoid! Review: I am absolutely disgusted by the service and sub-standard quality of work from Algoa Nissan Mahindra Humansdorp. I strongly advise anyone to think twice before buying a vehicle here or booking a service. I paid R38,000 for a major service on my Mahindra Scorpio bakkie. A year later, the ignition broke. When independent specialists (Diesel Tronix) stripped it down, they discovered shocking workmanship: ordinary speaker wire was used to bypass/wire the ignition, and it was installed backward! Algoa Nissan was the ONLY workshop that has ever touched this vehicle, yet when confronted, they immediately denied responsibility. This is dangerous "backyard mechanics" from an official franchise. To add fuel to the fire, we bought TWO brand-new Nissan Magnites from them middle of last year. The reliability is a joke. My mother-in-law’s Magnite already needed a completely new gearbox. My own Magnite has been back to the workshop SIX times for endless minor components breaking. The radio has been replaced three times now, and it’s still faulty! They are quick to take your money for expensive services and new cars, but when it comes to standing by their work and fixing underlying issues, they completely dodge responsibility. Absolutely pathetic service.
