DO NOT TRUST NISSAN DEALERS

I took my car Nissan x-trail to Nissan Gezina for upper cylinder repairs which I personally know about. They charged me R20 000.00 for engineering and repairs which I paid through the bank. They promised me to collect the car after two weeks. A day before the collection of the car, they asked for three days extension. Three days before the collection date Gert the workshop foreman started phoning me, saying they are unable to start the car and they suspect electrical wiring problem. I did not agree with him because the electrical part of the car was never the case before. After the next two days he phoned again and told me that they think that the lower cylinder piston rings have collapsed. He then suggested that they think of replacing the entire engine with the second hand one the total cost of R54 618.26.It did not make sense for me to replace the engine for that value for the car which is currently selling for R70 000.00.They then moved into another \offer"of bare engine at R154 347.00 with no consideration of the R20 000.00 already spend on the upper cylinder.
