bad service

I took my vehicle in for service on the 31/03/2015 for 60000 km service, when I fetched my vehicle they told me one of the bolts in the wheel striped and they could not check my breakpads. I asked who stripped it cause everything was fine they said it must be me what I dont understand is why I must pay for this if they damaged it.
