I saw Dr Grubnik 3 May 2021 for a consultation on my breasts that are causing me an emense amount of pain. Dr Grubnik made me feel comfortable. However her receptionist from the time I called to get information prior to seeing the doctor could not get me off the phone quick enough. I then took it apon myself to do research on the Doctor. Then after seeing the doctor I had to request authorization from my medical aid for the procedure. I needed all info that the doctor gathered from my consultation including the pictures to forward to my medical aid. Now that was like pulling teeth to get that sent through I even had to tell her to cc me in all emails Laura Hoffman I had to literally call her time after time to get the information sent through as I requested and if that wasn't enough on my consultation invoice which I had to submit to my medical aid she puts the incorrect date, another thing she delayed. Coming back to my documents that were to be sent she forgets to add the referral letters from my other health professionals and the best part she makes me a **** and says she did send it. I also had to constantly beg for the quotations of Dr Grubnik the Anaesthetist and hospital. Now this women has had an attitude with me since day one and the only reason I was taking her **** was because I am in extreme pain constantly so desperation was why I tolerated her Shoulder pain, constant migraine headaches, back aches. Now when we were in the waiting room my husband and I noticed how much patience she had with the white patients that were there, but when I had a question about anything she was very short off, the only thing she was interested in was that Payment be done before I see Dr Grubnik. So on the 18th June 2021 I get my Authorization for my procedure she says that Dr Grubnik does not accept medical aid. Now I ask is this women's brain functioning normally. Why did she accept my money knowing that I was motivating for my medical aid to pay for the procedure. So the R1500 consultation we paid was for nothing because Dr Grubnik will not be doing the procedure according to Laura Hoffman.

Whenever I asked to speak to the Doctor Laura had an excuse, but she could never call me back to speak to the doctor myself

I have never been through such stress, humiliation and anguish just to get assistance with my health.

Laura Hoffman is not suited to work with patients especially people suffering with constant pain. I have to get another Doctor to assist me so I guess Nip Tuck pockets my money for doing Nothing and I will have to folk out more money that I should get from where.
