Do not use nino direct to get national insurance number. Useless

Never have I used such a useless company. When applying for my national insurance number they came up and I landed up using them. For 45 pounds i got a form and a stamped envelope which i could have got for nothing. Then told if i dont get a reply go back to gov website or call hmrc. What ****************. I will be taking this everywhere to warn people.
