Ninety One - Not paying out their Investors
Good day
So I have had an investment at Investec, no problems...but then a company so called NINETY ONE took over...
They gave money away as follow: *We contributed R50m to the government-endorsed solidarity efforts in South Africa, Namibia and Botswana. *We matched our staff members' charitable efforts and have to date jointly contributed almost R6 million to charities in our communities. *SMMEs employ around 47% of South Africa’s workforce. We partnered with 702 and Cape Talk to give 40 winning small businesses each a R20 000 cash boost and business coaching sessions. *We have committed not to cut staff members and to honour all commitments to our service providers and suppliers.
My problem is, I the investor is also struggling during the COVID19 period, and send them a couple of emails with read receipts.
The first mail sent on the 15/06/2020 to '***' as below: "Good day
I urgently need some money, and want to draw all my money from Investec.
Can you perhaps assist with all the relevant documentation.
Kind regards"
Then I have send the Redemption instruction on the 19/06/2020 again to '***', following: "Good day Please find Redemption Instruction attached. Also find attached my IRP5 for Proof of Physical address as well as other supporting documents. Please note that I am working at a mine where we do not have a municipality in town. It’s being run by the mine, so Utility Bills as well as my Proof of residential address will be mine related documents. I trust everything will be in order with the attached IRP5. Kind regards"
on the 24/06/2020 I have send a follow up email, again to '***': "Good day
What is happening with this instruction?
Regards"
ALL of these read receipts came back as follow: "Your message
To: 'utclientservicessa@ninetyone' Subject: Redemption Instruction - ERICH OLIVIER Sent: Friday, June 26, 2020 3:11:12 AM (UTC+02:00) Harare, Pretoria
was deleted without being read on Friday, June 26, 2020 3:10:54 AM (UTC+02:00) Harare, Pretoria."
I, the investor is investing in my own future as well as my family's. We have gone through really tough times, and this is the way your "Investment" Company uses your money and abuses you as investor. My investment has decreased by 28%, but all of the above mentioned personnel gained financial wealth, but when I/ME the investor struggles, your emails are being deleted without any notice...just give and give till there's no more to give? I am sort, but that is not the way to go forward into the unknown future.
This behaviour is unacceptable
I hope you can assist with this problem.
Kind Regards Erich
