Ninety One... Disgusting!!!
My father who turns 85 in October, and who is in the advanced stage of chemotherapy, has been trying since April 2023 to draw down a portion of his funds invested offs**** through Ninety One.
Further to countless emails, phone calls, and even interventions from our personal banker, my dad is no closer to gaining access to his money.
Not only that, but the communication is shocking, lacking in detail and so close to non-existent. My mom and dad are now living with the added stress of worrying over their life savings, while Ninety One revel in their disorganisation that smacks of all the wrong traits of a trustworthy 'global investment firm'.
Today I called and asked to speak to a senior manager, and was promised that someone would call me back. Guess what? Nothing!!!
I hope that somehow this message gets to the CEO, who is then able to review what his company stands for and whether they are living up to the performance criteria they set for themselves, even for 85 year men who have trusted their life savings with Ninety One.
