Horror attack on guests at Nine Oaks guest farm

Do not be deceived by the beautiful scenes of tranquility. At Nine Oaks guest farm in Paarl, you may be putting yourself and loved ones in danger. During our stay in December 2015 we were surprised in our beds at 2 am in the morning by several men armed with machetes, knives and heavy objects. My husband and our friend from France fended them off with bare hands and sustained multiple serious injuries. Only the arrival of the police and members of the local community farm watch saved our lives. At hospital, we learned that there have been multiple attacks on Nine Oaks recently
