Camera came back Damaged

I sent my Nikon Camera for a Lens repair on the 08/12/14. The lens was changed and given back to me on the 19/12/14. I then tied the camera and when I took a picture the camera switches off. I was on leave and did not did send Nikon a mail to report this problem. When I got back to work on the 05/01/15 I sent Nikon a mail telling them abt my problem. I was ask to send the camera to them. When they check my camera, they said that it can not be repaired coz it has corrosion. This camera is not even a year and I can not use it. My point is when I sent the camera the first time it did not have any Corrosion but when I sent it again it had corrosion. I can not prove if part were swoop or they coursed this corrosion.
