bad client service
I bought a Nikon D3200 Camera from Makro on the 22nd May 2015. 10 months after I bought the camera, the camera stopped reading the SD card. I couldn't find anything wrong with the SD card and their wasn't a lot of photos taken with the camera up to date. The Nikon was returned to Makro due to still under warranty. The camera was send in to Nikon to have a look at the problem. Nikon came back and told me that the camera had physical damage witch made no sense to me due to the camera was never dropped or knocked agains anything. I requested a quote to get the camera repaired and Nikon gave me a price to replace the SD card slot and this was half the prize of a new camera. I ask them then that I will need a written report an the damage found and there reason for damage. Nikon personal then phoned me and asked me if this was for insurance reasons when I informed them that it is quite a lot for a SD card slot replacement. They informed me that they found pieces of the SD card in the camera and this could not be true due to I am still using the same SD card that came with the camera and there is no damage or pieces missing on the SD card. I was also told by the Nikon personnel that they do over quite incase more damage are found and the price might be less. My conclusion is due to me still using the same SD card and bought the camera new that this SD card pieces must be from the factory when they or someone tested it and this should be Nikon's responsibility to fix it. Second to give a quote to fix a product and over quoting is a joke, a quote should be to fix and not take clients for a ride for more money where they can.
