Pathetic customer service : Nike factory store : Value Centre :Springfield Park, Durban

Good day, I went to the Nike store at Value center, Springfield Park, Durban on the 2021-04-16 to return a pair of shoes bought from the very store. There was a que for people who were waiting to purchase items outside the store, where no social distancing was managed by the Nike store and people were literally standing half a ruler length from each other. I went to the entrance of the store and spoke with team member standing at the entrance who was assisting people. I informed him that I was not purchasing anything but returning shoes bought from the store. I was made to wait outside the store whilst he took my receipt and shoes and went inside. He came outside after a while didn't inform me as to what was going on and attended to other customers and when I asked to speak to him he rudely stated that he was busy. After a while he came to me with a clipboard and asked me to fill in a form as to why I was returning the item. I did so, he went back into the store and returned with my receipt and handed me cash at the door(entrance of the store) in full view of the public. I then enquired from him, is this is how they operate as when when the item was purchased, it was done in store and paid for it store. He rep**** by saying "Yes". I asked to speak with the manager and the manager (Mr Naidoo) approached me after a few minutes and I enquired from him the same and he rep**** that it was Nike's policy. I further enquired from Mr Naidoo, when the item was purchased, was it done in the same manner that they did the refund and he remained quiet. I informed him that it was very unprofessional to deal with customers in that fashion and he was putting people at risk of being ****** by handing cash refunds in full view of the public. This is very unprofessional and ********* behaviour to treat customers in this fashion especially from a global brand like "Nike". "Nike SA" Please deal with your deal staff and teach them how treat people dignified and ethical manner.
