Nike Sneaker that only lasted 6months like ***…

I recently (October 2023) bought a Nike Sneaker from Woodmead factory store and in April 2024 the sneakers rear sole of my left foot broke while walking in a mall now take note that I’m not an athlete so I don’t use my sneakers for sports except using them as luxury swag items so u can imagine these sneakers where not even used for what they made for but they broke like a twig. Now iv got a very clean looking sneaker that has a broken sole that I can no longer wear because my slip is 2 months out of the “NIKE replacement policy” and so I was basically sold a dud, I tried to explain to the guy there that iv only had the sneaker from October 2023 it broke in April 2024 and I couldn’t go exchange as I was in another province dude to personal matters I didn’t even know that one has only 6 months to exchange as I’m only aware of the 2 year policy that Nike has so I was shocked to learn that Nike stores don’t operate Under the same guidelines or policies. Now all I’m asking for is an exchange cos I cannot wear these sneakers I was even told by a guy that I’m wearing **** Nikes it’s so embarrassing really, iv got many other sneakers that I’ve had for Ofer 10 years and they still intact mind u on the day I bought 3 Nike sneakers and only this one had a problem and I was told about company policy now why can’t the manager exercise his own discretion It is important to consider each case on its merits and I’m pretty sure if Nike does not cut down on quality as they did with this sneaker they won’t even need to talk about company policy as their brand is said to make quality sneakers. Can a Nike representative that makes decisions please contact me as I’m really not convinced that this is what Nike has become I’m really of the opinion that this is a no brainer and can be resolved without ant issues or delay. I don’t believe that iv spent my hard earned money on a Nike Sneaker that only lasted 6months. I always spend my hard earned money on quality items that last long so that I don’t find myself buying new items every other day and I thought Nike is the brand that can honestly give me value for my hard earned money. Please someone from Nike assist as a matter of urgency I’m a very loyal customer of Nike and this is very bad for the image of Nike as I’m very unhappy as one cannot sparingly wear a sneaker for less than 6 months and it breaks and then be told about policy please review this matter I’m very disappointed.
