Nike SA Trolley Policy
On 6/11/23 I visited the Nike Store at Eastpoint in Boksburg, After browsing I left and returned a while later with a single bag in a trolley. I went to pick up the T-shirt that I had earlier decided on. A female security guard approached me and said I may not bring a trolley in the store, I was surprised as I was the only customer with 2 guards and maybe 6 staff. I told her I was going to pay and leave but moved my trolley close to the door. At the till point, I was refused service by "Madam" Precious Nhlapo because "I did not comply". After a discussion I wheeled my trolley outside and returned inside with my shopping bag. "Madam"refused to serve me for a 2nd time. I was told the manager was not available but eventually another cashier then served me. I called Head Office and was told by Jay that someone would contact me, that hasn't happened. Reading over 220 negative reviews on Hellopeter, with not a single reply from Nike SA, it is evident that the brand is out of touch with the standard of their levels of service. During this incident another 2 shoppers were chased out of the store with trolleys. Evidently Nike SA does not need the business and would rather evict paying customers than have staff perform their duties. Good luck to the brand, their future looks bleak.
