Nike is a disappointment!

I bought my wife a pair of nike airmax on mothersday as a gift from our children to her, she wore them at most four times in not even 1 month and the soles of the trainers started pulling apart. I have never experienced such terrible manufacturing through Nike in my life as i am a dedicated Nike wearer and usually a trainer would last atleast 2 years. My wife has now lost trust in the Nike product as their quality has obviously declined. We are as a family very disappointed and would like answers as to what is going to be done about this because R2400 is not cheap for a shoe that hasnt even lasted 1 month.
