GOODS RETURNED NO RESPONSE 3 MONTHS LATER

Bought a dud pair of Nike Frees from Cross Trainer in Lakeside Mall Benoni. Poor stitching of tongue resulted in extreme pain & permanent scarring on upper foot. Shoes returned to Nike (Cross Trainer do not refund) for inspection in January. Consumer Division responded to say someone would contact me. Three months and many emails later, nobody has bothered to follow up. Last (and only 2nd) mail received on 03 March was to ask for my size so they could replace with a new pair of Nike Frees (Cross Trainer told me these only go up to Size 6 for Ladies). I declined the offer, stating I would never wear Nike Frees again and would prefer to choose an alternative style, so could they please issue a voucher to the value. Nothing has been heard since. I have in the interim bought a pair of New Balance for R1,999.00 - they are fab! I cannot believe a simple complaint can take this long to resolve. Most shocking service I have ever encountered, and in my opinion, their product (made in Korea and Vietnam) is over-rated and over-priced!
