Defective Nike Air Max shoes

My son purchased a pair of Nike Air Max shoes from the Nike factory store in Linksfield - within a week the Nike emblem started peeling off on the shoes. He took the shoes and the purchase slip back to the store - the response was that they would not replace them?, instead they would contact the Nike rep and get back to him. Well there was no response from the store or the rep. My son then sent numerous e-mails to Nike with this complaint and guess what? no response.<br> <br> Well we are a few months down the line the shoes are deteriorating at a rapid rate - there is moisture ingress in the air portion of the sole and the emblems on the sides look terrible. <br> <br> With Nike being a world renown brand with its customers at the heart of its business i would have expected Nike to take this seriously at the time and replace the shoes. Instead they ignored the e-mails and ignored the emails. From this standpoint I would appeal to Nike to respond to this issue and replace the shoes urgently - the customer base is what Nike depends on and I would have expected more from this company which will lose instead of gaining customers with this treatment.
