Appaling customer service and **** quality

In February 2017, I bought a pair of ladies Nike Metcon 3 crossfit shoes from the Nike Eastage branch. I have worn these shoes in total 4 times and they are approximately only month old. The shoes are kept in the box when not being worn. Last week I noticed the shoe has started freying/damaged. I took the shoes back to Eastgate to be told that the Nike assessor has to have a look at them. A few days later I get a phone call saying that its not a factory fault and that I have been running in the shoes. Anyone who knows me knows I don’t run and the branch manager yaya tells me that the assessor says I am heavy when I run – a complete insult to any customer – especially when she has never met or seen me !!!!!!!! – TOTALLY DISGRACEFULL BEHAVIOUR FROM A NIKE REPRESENTATIVE

Irrespective of that fact of whether I run or not - they are crossfit shoes – and are advertised as so - have a look at the nike webiste (pic copied below) and the description of the specific shoe clearly states: “SPRINTING” and versatility need for “RUNNING” and cardio drills . As the crossfit games/opens are now taking place I will be making sure my presence is known and advising people not to buy the Nike brand as they do not have their customers best interest at heart. I definitely did not spend R1800 on a pair of shoes to be told I am lying and heavy and not have them replaced when they are not even a month old. Clearly Nike does not give a hoot about any of their customers - I guess as long as you have the money from me all is good – great ambassador for the sporting industry …….. NOT !!!!!!
