Poor Professional development team

We have been working on a project as a subcontractor where this company is involved in the development of a large project in the Western Cape.

The professional team - also consisting of Mainreef asset management, NOVO PRQS, Niemann architects and a Mr Chris Kruis (Kruis developments) part of Mainreef as Project Manager have been very unprofessional in their conduct on this project.

The client took occupation of the building in December 2022 and the professional team still refuse to provide Practical completion and payment up to retention to the contractor (Concilio Group). Thus the contractor not being able to make their retention payments to various subbies including us on the project.

We contacted the relevant municipality and found out that the team does not have official approved plans from the municipality and they also have not app**** for Occupation inspection. No temporary Occupation certificate has been given to this team.

We will be going ahead and laying a complaint against each professional team member in his private registered capacity at their respective councils until this matter has been settled.

we have also been in legal action with the contractor but hope that this action against the professional team will assist in paying Concilio their money owed for the work done.

We do want to credit the Contractor on one point as they have been in communication with us and trying to sort this out very amicably and has even started sorting out the snags - where we also have been involved without final account even being sorted by the Professional team to try and get payments sorted.

We will also be going ahead and reporting this project to the municipality if no amicable solution and payments has been received by the 22nd of February 2023.
