discreditation as accredited ELBA Appliance repairer

<p>I experienced a thermostat control issue on our ELBA Gas oven model 9S_EX888C and was reffered to</p> <p>NIC's appliance repirs centre here in Secunda.</p> <p> </p> <p>NIC’s Appliance repairs in Secunda is apparently the ELBA certified/accredited repairer here in the TEK's region but have experienced issues with their services and competence, as one of the technicians attempted in removing the oven top plate in accessing the components beneath it, but stripped a hand full of ***** heads in the process even resorting to a vice grip in removing the ones</p> <p>that were damaged. The technician then became frustrated that he was incapable of removing the oven top and left without any explanation. this all occurred on the Tuesday the 05.10.2016.</p> <p>After arriving home on the Tuesday, I then attempted in removing the remaining stripped *****s. which took a little improvisation of having to re-slot the heads and was able to repair the switch. the gears inside the switch somehow had dislodged from it’s recesses which caused the gears to jam.</p> <p> </p> <p>After testing the switch, everything was put back together, except the *****s with the stripped heads. the technician then came out on the morning of the 6.10.2016 to replace the *****s that were damaged but arrived with the incorrect *****s which he attempted to replace. he also damaged further *****s and</p> <p>broke one of the ***** heads off on the triple gas burner cup, some scratches to the stove top were also experienced. The technician was wanting to drill the broken ***** out in replacing it but was stopped by my wife.</p> <p> </p> <p>ELBA then informed that NIC's Appliance repair replace the damaged triple gas burner cup at their own costs, but till date have not received anything nor seen any corresondence about the order of the damaged triple gas burner cup.</p> <p>The attached photographs explain the damage caused and may have also stripped the ***** threads in the Triple / Rapid burner cup bases themselves. these components do not come cheap and should the burner cups bases, accommodating the crews, be stripped as well will require replacement of the burner cup bases. Scratches on the cooker top around one of the burners also need to be seen too or replaced.</p> <p> </p> <p>After all there ios still no decancy in notifying me of what is happening four months later!!!!!!!!!</p> <p> </p>
