Estate agent from hell!!

We have rented a bachelor flat at East Village in Olympus, Pretoria. Nico handled the contract on behalf of the owner. Several faults and defects were reported to him in middle December last year. Our occupation date was 30 January 2015. On this day we realised that there were even more faults and those we reported weren't even taken care of. On speaking to him about this he told us that he is only doing us a favour and that we shouldn't complain to him. We asked for the owner's contact details in order to speak to him directly. He refused to give us the details and then a whole 10 days of calling and begging started for us - he didn't answer our calls, didn't call back when we left messages. Several requests to provide the owner's details were just ignored. He became very abusive, and when we eventually got hold of him, didn't honour his word of fixing the problems.We now have the contact details of the owner, but this whole unpleasant and unnecessary event is still ongoing after nearly 14 days.
