Rude and threatening behavior

Received a very threatening WhatsApp, when I tried to call the number, I was ignored. Got through to another number and this lady tells me something else then the WhatsApp. Thought is was sorted but now I'm being ignored from both people in the company. Why threat people over WhatsApp if there was no phone call or email? Since when is WhatsApp a professional way of communication?
