NICOL, DAVIS & ASSOCIATES : GIVING DEBT COLLECTORS A BAD NAME!

I had a doctor's account which was handed over to Nicol, Davis & Associates. Despite payment arrangements having been made with them and monthly payments met in terms thereof, they continuously send threatening SMS' advising they are proceeding with legal action due to non-payment. I have called their offices on numerous occasions and not only are their staff rude, but their management as well. I have requested a statement on various occasions but they have failed, refused and/or neglected to send me one. The previous statement I did receive (Feb 2018) had many charges for SMS', telephone calls, correspondence, etc. which did not take place. I even went so far as to approach an Attorney to address a letter to them, however, they blatantly ignored the Attorney's letter as well. They have now left me with no alternative but to report them to the Council for Debt Collectors as their threats and lack of communication is unacceptable. They continue to claim fees, even though the original account has been paid in full, for sending SMS', etc. without merit or cause. Hopefully the Council for Debt Collectors can get a decent response from them and bring an end to their ********* charges and failure to respond to Debtor's who query same.
