Shocking attitude

Sunday a week ago I bought some uggs boots at the store in Rosebank. after wearing them TWICE the one inner lining started lifting. I called the store and spoke to Lebo who had helped me when I bought them. She explained the procedure is to send them away for a few weeks and they decide whether to repair or exchange. While I understand this, I explained that thats ridiculous as I had worn them twice and spent a lot of money. She said she would speak to a manager and I must come in and they will see what they can do. I went in last Saturday and Tammy was there. She was so rude and condescending. I understand you have a procedure in place but surely you can understand why after wearing them twice I would be upset and the procedure doesnt make sense to me. Also, after all that, why would I want a brand new pair of expensive boots to be repaired??? In the end after arguing with me, I mentioned the comsumer protection act and she said "I have been in sales for many years and that only works for online purchases". That is not true! She did exchange in the end but her attitude was so rude which her finger pointing in my face, I actually had to turn and walk out. I understand the proceudre if it happens again, but why should I be without my new shoes for a few weeks when its clearly a manufacturing fault?? My family had spent a lot there the week before and we will not be supporting you anymore. Disgusting
