Value your safety? Value your life? Avoid the NHC Bryanston at all costs:

Last week I was held up at gunpoint in the parking lot of the NHC Bryanston. It was an ordinary Tuesday afternoon at 12h56. The ******* took a total of 35 seconds in broad daylight, in full view of at least 3 other people. This was not an isolated incident. The exact same modus operandi was employed approximately 3 months ago, when my husband was ******; same place, same time!!!! What is more shocking than the actual ******ies is the apathetic response of the NHC management. During my husband’s ******* in May their surveillance cameras were defective and no footage was recorded, whatsoever. Subsequent to his ******* absolutely NO security upgrade was implemented. In fact, the NHC Bryanston has absolutely NO SECURITY guards on the premises. There is a guard house at the entrance but NO action was forthcoming from it. NO sign in is required. Anyone whosoever is free to drive in and out of the premises. There is no boom, no security spikes, no scanning of drivers licenses. With easy access via William Nicol to the freeway, a getaway for ********* is guaranteed. There is apparently an ‘orderley’ on duty to assist elderly or infirm patients from the parking lot. He was no-where to be seen. Is the NHC Bryanston waiting for a fatal incident in their car park until they decide to implement some form of even the most basic security?? Security aside, the empathy (or LACK therof), from the NHC management after my incident was SHOCKING. No phone call from anyone the day after my incident, no note, no email…..just NOTHING. Well done, NHC Bryanston, brilliant customer service.
