Organization that don't protect the buyer

Almost 3 years I struggle with them regarding our newly build house. Firstly our garage roof leaked. I struggle almost 3 years for them to repair. It became a point where the electrical box got wet. So I had to repair because our house could burn down. Now they say they are not liable anymore. I could not waited longer, I also request proof of all the visits they did to my home. They send my an pity word document with 3 dates. Best is that one of the dates we where already in the house and had an occupation certificate. I requested more detail because some where some one had to sign off to continue. The answer back was that I have to launch another complaint. Can you believe it. We are busy with an complaint to make another complaint. If they can't provide sufficient proof then they are also liable for all the damages we have on our house. Which is R84900. The builder are liquidated. So some one also have to stand in. We trusted NHBRC would be there for us but now they are playing the blaming game. For three years they still can't deliver. What is there purpose if they can't even make sure that they do there jobs. NHBRC got paid out off our money. They took our money but can't prevent this which we go thru. They can't even provide proof. What I think is happening here, is that they thumb suck dates to please me. It does not work like that. They are there so that we do not have to face expenses like this. I don't know what to do anymore, they are not willing to come to the table with an decent solution, just blaming and not take responsibility. I am tired to fight a fight which was suppose to be prevented by them. I don't see the purpose of this organization if they do nothing to protect the buyer. They say they had put a claim against builder for us but I don't have proof of that. How can I trust that after they can't protect me. How do I now I will get something. I had to pay an amount to them to proceed with legal claim. I am afraid that money also went to no where land. The builder was Jan Everson Construction, the people I work with at NHBRC is Neziswa Kweyama, Faith Sikobi, Stefan Janser, Sarfaraaz Bawa and Dalitso Mkandawire
