Nhbrc is just as useless as the builders they register

People think going with a builder who is nhbrc registered is a safe option. I thought so too, I went with a company called I beam construction who is registered with the nhbrc. This man Anand took my money and two years later after signing a contract he decided that he under quoted us and wants to renegotiate the terms in regards to the price of the building. After we gave him 80% of the money and the project is no where near complete. We sent him a letter from a lawyer asking him to complete the job. He refused. We contacted the nhbrc only for them to tell us because we didn’t pay the builder in full they can’t help us. These ppl are absolutely useless.
