Are They Legit?

The agreement was that I would pay R5000 in total for the service but I had to pay it in two parts, 50% at the commencement and the last 50%at the completion of the services. I paid the 50% as per the agreement, but before the service was completed, I was required multiple times to pay an extra R1000 for the investigation to proceed to the next level; apparently, they cannot continue unless I pay. I think I have been played, and my only option is to search for another company, hoping that this time I shall get a legit company
