False advertising

Be aware all South African's! Do not place any orders with a on-line Company called Next Direct. They are big time into false advertising. When you place the on-line order there is a South African flag on display and it says: FREE Shipping. Even the Terms and Conditions that are sent straight after confirming your order and payment it makes mention that you should keep your receipt in case Customs require proof of payment for the goods. Two days later I received an e-mail from SKYNET requesting me to pay "import duties and a fee for administration" Why would I have placed the order with them to start with if it was going to be so expensive and they have hidden costs. I requested for them to return the goods. I have read how many other Hello Peter complaints .... exactly the same .... they NEXTDIRECT and SKYNET gets away with this all the time. I am going to put a stop to this. They should stop advertising their goods to the South African market under false pretense. It is, what it is. There must be an international legislation protecting customers against companies like NEXTDIRECT. SA Customs should also be made aware and stop them in their tracks to not allow them to sell to the South African market. An organisation like SKYNET is part of this and they are not suppose to entertain this type of practice as it is *********. Surely one can see from the history that there is issues coming a long way with the supplier and the shipping company.
