S****ditch restaurant/Harvey’s bar at the Winchester

I recently booked an event for 25 people with The Winchester hotel restaurant (S****ditch and Harvey’s bar). It was a terrible experience. The communication by management was appalling, with no reply to emails, no answer on cellphone calls and constantly being redirected to different people. I was promised an area within the bar with access to the patio, but couldn’t use the patio because it was occupied by other clients. The cost for canapés was exuberant and the quality of the food poor, to say the least. When I arrived table arrangements were cluttered and sparkling wine served standing heating up in glasses with no guests there yet. I would strongly advise that no one should use their services for any event ever. A terrible experience!
