***** clear of brands making out to be the best

I've purchased a pair of new balance tekkies September 2017. A while back the front of each of the tekkies started coming loose. I took it to tekkie town where I purchased it. I was told there is a guarantee on the tekkies for 6 months only. They declined the request saying its normal wear and tear. I contacted new balance head office and was told that's the policy and declined an investigation in bad manufacturing or workmanship. Buying a top brand, I felt that I would at least get more than 8 months joy from the product. It is not that there brand is cheap.
