Won a photoshoot but have to pay for your pics??

At the baby expo in cpt we filled in a form from new age portraits to enter a photoshoot competition. At the expo i asked the ladys is it really a free thing you win as i know my mom was conned before... she said no you pay nothing and you win a free a3 canvas also if we should win. I asked so we dnt pay for our pics nothing she said no all inclusive shoot we win, well when they called to say we won i asked the lady the same thing on the phone and she advised no costs as we won the shoot and free a3 canvas.. i also explained to her how my mom was conned and she said no cost wil be asked from us... i again asled via phone so we dont have to pay for our disk and the lady advised no, so we went for the photoshoot only to find out we need to pay r1400 to get our pics on a disk. So we basically became modela for their portfolio. When i raised my concern with yolande on their fb page she just simply advised she is sorry i was misinformed, totally feel conned, this is false advertising at the expo and via telephone
